History of CoE
- Established in 2010 as one of the National Collaborating Centres for Education and Training of Health Workers under the leadership of Prof. Anthonia Adindu as Founding Coordinator
- Collaborative effort between the Federal Ministry of Health and selected Nigerian Universities
- The CoE in the University of Calabar, Calabar is hosted by the Department of Public Health.
- UNICAL was selected to host the Certificate course in Health Planning and Management
